NRC Students Art Work Displayed at TAFB

Congratulations are in order for Mrs. Taulman’s talented art students, who represented NRC with pride and skill at the Art Contest held during Tinker Air Force Base’s Native American Heritage Ceremony. Six students competed in this event, showcasing their talents and creativity.

Abria Hamilton-Youngbird took home 1st place honors, with her artwork chosen to be featured as cone art on the AWACS plane. Her winning piece will accompany the crew for the coming months, a unique recognition that also came with a monetary prize.

Ryan Humphrey captured 2nd place, and James Morton took 3rd place, with both students receiving monetary awards for their work.
